Detailed introduction

Converter is the main equipment for steel smelting. Its function is to reduce the carbon content and remove the foreign matter from the pig iron through smelting; then proper amount of alloying element is added to make the pig iron become steel with high strength. DHHI can design and manufacture complete set of converter equipment, such as 190t, 210t and 300t converters, which are on the good graces of many steel & iron making enterprises.

Molten steel ladle is the basic tool for transferring in steel smelting production. The molten steel ladles produced by DHHI include those for open-hearth furnace, converter and electric furnace, with the capacities of 100t, 150t, 200t, 250t and 300t, etc.

Converter building tower is the automatic equipment used in the process of converter repairing. Its main function is to transport the converter repairing material, appliances & tools and relevant personnel to access the converter as well as assisting the automatic operation for the full process of converter repairing. DHHI can manufacture converter building towers matching with different types of medium and large converters for the customers.

The oxygen lance traversing mechanism is one of the key unit of the converter and is used for supplying oxygen to the molten steel in the converter. The oxygen lance lifting & traversing mechanism is complex in operation and action, high in repositioning requirement. DHHI can design and manufacture oxygen lance, oxygen lance lifting unit, traversing device, fixed and movable guide rails, positioning device, slag removing device, indicating device, winch driving device, as well as the safety devices such as the limiting device, accident lifting device, buffering device, anti-dropping device, etc.

Metallurgical crane
