Cranes dedicated to oil drilling platform are used for lifting and building offshore engineering equipment and facilities such as offshore oil drilling platform, vessel, etc. which weigh more than 10,000 tons. Compared with traditional building process, a single integral lifting may save over 2 million man hours for the customer, with the building period shortened by over 30%. The 20000t bridge crane dedicated to oil drilling platform designed and manufactured by DHHI for Raffles Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. in 2006 has been successfully applied in integral lifting and assembling of offshore oil drilling platform of over 10,000 tons.

Propeller (for marine purpose), also called screw propeller, is a device to transform the engine power into thrust force by means of blade rotation in water. DHHI has strong technological background in development and manufacture of propellers, which are used for container vessel, cargo ship, large oil tank and the dynamic positioning system of offshore drilling platform, etc. and praised by the customer.

Deck crane is a high-capacity, multifunctional and efficient lifting appliance used for large vessel. DHHI can develop and manufacture different types of deck cranes of 1100~3500t for the customer.

Shipbuilding gantry crane is a high-capacity, multifunctional and efficient lifting appliance with large span dedicated to shipyard for section dividing, joining and overturning of large hull. DHHI has accumulated rich experience in mechanical and electrical design, structural analysis and calculation, manufacturing, transport, erection and commissioning and held independent core technology since it developed and manufactured the full VVVF shipbuilding gantry crane in 1999. Up to now, DHHI has developed and manufactured different types of shipbuilding gantry cranes of 200~800t. 

Single-point mooring system is one of the important facilities in offshore petroleum development engineering. The single-point mooring system developed and manufactured by DHHI for CNOOC is used for mooring the offshore petroleum processing device and transmission of oil and gas, with a total weight of 2144 tons. In this project, DHHI undertook the preparation of construction process, manufacture of overall steel structure, production of all the castings, machining of all the castings and forgings as well as the assembling work for all the components except for piping and electrical equipment.

Electrical swivel is one of the core and key devices in single-point mooring system. By undertaking the project of “Development of Internal-turret Single-point Mooring System and Development & Manufacture of Hydraulic Swivel” from Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, DHHI masters the key technologies, i.e. design, manufacture and test, etc. for HV electrical swivel, and can provide general concept design and development, testing of assembly for the customer.

Hydraulic swivel is one of the core and key devices in single-point mooring system. DHHI can provide general construction and concept design, technical design of hydraulic swivel as well as trial production, test and inspection of swivel prototype for the customer.
