On August 21st, 2013. After the final inspection of the British Lloyd's Register, South Korea STX heavy industry and the owner-ZODAIC British company, the first China-made Super-large Joint Type Crankshaft 11S90ME - C9.2 developed by DHHI rolled out of the line. This is another major breakthrough in developing marine crankshaft after DHHI successfully produced the first China-made Man Series type-90 crankshaft and Wartsila Series-82t crankshaft and helps to fill the gaps in relevant area in China and means that our company has comprehensively mastered the high-end technology in manufacturing large marine crankshaft. This type(11S90ME-C 9.2)of crankshaft will be installed in the heart (low speed diesel engine) of 16000 teu container ship at the ZODAIC British company.This kind of diesel engine can reduce engine emission by slowing down the diesel engine rotating speed and significantly reduce the engine combustion product - sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides and carbon dioxide to meet the international maritime organization Tier II Emission Standard and in order to achieve the purpose of energy saving and environmental protection.The crankshaft is with length of 21.56 meters, weighs of 426 tons, which is currently the first domestic super-large joint type crankshaft with a testing data of more than 1700. And it has a very demanding accuracy and complex manufacturing process.It is representing the latest technology in the world.
