2019-09-04

Recently, DHHI held a ceremony for successful delivery of equipment for hematite tailings recovery project for Roy hill, Australia. This is DHHI’s first EPC project for export to developed country, with all the intellectual property rights owned by DHHI, and also the first hematite tailings industrialized recovery project in the world. It enables large-scale recovering and recycling of hematite tailings pulp and improvement of ore grade, thereby turning the high-risk ore tailings waste into recyclable resources and reducing the land occupation of ore tailings stock. This project fully achieves the effect of improving resource utilization rate as well as energy saving & environment protection and plays an active driving role for upgradingChina’s traditional mineral separation industry and scientific, green development of global mining industry.

From June to September 2018, DHHI successively signed EPC supply contracts with Roy hill for core equipment of hematite tailings recovery project, including design, 14 vertical ring high gradient magnetic separators, 14 drum magnetic separators, 28 vibration screens, 84 cyclones, large-modular assembly and transport, etc. This is the first time for DHHI to enter the ore separation equipment market, with milestone significance for DHHI to cultivate new sources of economic growth and expand the field of separation equipment. Since signing of the contracts, DHHI has been paying great attention to this project and set up a high-level project team to make overall plans for coordinating both internal and external resources. DHHI carried out project organization in strict accordance with Australian standard and successfully applied a new project operation and delivery mode - modularized final assembly and delivery, and completed design, manufacture, final assembly and preliminary inspection for 62 unit modules including separation shop, pipe gallery racks, degassing tower, loose parts piping, etc., which were all shipped from Dalian Heshangdao Terminal before July 20 by three shipments and scheduled to arrive at the site of customer before the end of August, this year.
