A few days ago, as the first piece of finished steel plate was put in storage, the cooling bed and roller table for Steckel mill produced by DHHI for Shandong Iron & Steel Group Company Limited are formally put into operation. This is the first time for DHHI to manufacture cooling bed for Steckel mill, and it is the heaviest, largest disk-type cooling bed with the most complete functions up to now inChina, as well. During testing of the production line, the machine operates stably and size, shape and surface quality of the plate meet the technical requirements in the contract, symbolizing full coverage of performance of DHHI’s cooling beds in the markets of plate, profile steel as well as rod and wire rod.
