Recently, the Green Manufacturing Association of China (GMAC) was officially established in Beijing. DHHI, as the only enterprise inChina’s heavy machinery industry, was invited to join the association and can undertake the green manufacturing cooperation project initiated and supported by the association and entrusted by the government, enterprise and organization, etc. The vice president of DHHI, Wei Xufeng, attended the relevant conferences for establishment of the association.

The GMAC is established for the purpose of implementation and fulfillment of the national strategy for Manufacturing Power and the relevant deployments in the Plan for Green Development of Industry (2016-2020) and in the Guideline for Implementation of Green Manufacturing Project (2016-2020). It is jointly initiated by the relevant industrial leading enterprises, colleges and universities, science research institutes, financial institutions and industrial organizations under the instruction of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of P.R. China. The association will play an active and important role in the innovation of green development mode and promotion of green transformation and upgrading ofChina’s manufacturing industry.
