On March 17, the first 2500t/h two-way continuous ship unloader inChinawas successfully developed and manufactured in DHHI. This machinery is developed and manufactured in accordance with FEM standard, with a rated capacity of 2500t/h, the actual design capacity up to 2750t/h，rail gauge 30M，and the boom slewing diameter up to 46M.

Customer of this machinery is Baosteel. Working efficiency of the machinery is up to 75%, and one 2500t/h continuous ship unloader can replaces two 1800t/h grab ship unloaders. The machinery is of low energy consumption in operation and the overall installed capacity is 1400 KW, equal to 70% of that of the 1800t/h grab ship unloader, and power consumption for handling one ton of material is reduced by 40%--50%. Material is conveyed in an enclosed system to achieve an environment friendly operating process without dust emission and material spillage, which helps the customer create a “dust-free port” effectively. The machinery is thorough in unloading and is capable of discharging more than 90% of the material from the hold directly, and this saves lots of labor and material costs required for hold cleaning.
