On September 10, function test and acceptance of the first ACP1000 polar crane in third-generation nuclear power technology in China was successfully completed on the test rig, with all the data meeting the requirement of the technical specification.

It is learned that DHHI has been capable of researching and developing polar cranes of types CPR1000, AP1000, EPR, CAP1000, CAP1400 and ACP1000 for 300-1750 MW nuclear power plants. By the end of 2015, DHHI had delivered approx. 120 sets of nuclear power equipment.
