From July 6 to 12, the delegation led by the president of DHHI, Jia Yijing, visited the Nagasaki MFG Co., Ltd., Yokohama procurement department and Hitachi MFG Co., Ltd., of Mitsubishi & Hitachi Electric Power Company, and conversation was made with the main chief, Fukuda and the plant was visited.

Mitsubishi & Hitachi Electric Power Company is a new company which was established in 2014 through combination of the business of electric power system of Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Co. and Hitachi MFG Co., Ltd. respectively centered on relevant equipment of thermal power plant such as combustion gas turbine, etc. This company takes Asia as its business center and is mainly engaged in thermal power generation system, 65% of the share is held by Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Co. and 35% by Hitachi MFG Co., Ltd. Before this visit, DHHI has been keeping a good cooperation relation with Hitachi MFG Co., Ltd. and has totally supplied 48 sets of high and medium pressure steam turbines and 33 sets of low-pressure steam turbines. And this is the first high-level visit to the newly established company.

In the conversation, Jia Yijing appreciated the long-term help and support given by Mitsubishi & Hitachi Company to DHHI and introduced the status of operation and development orientation of DHHI in details and hoped that such good cooperation relation can be continued in the future to achieve mutual benefit. Fukuda extended a welcome to the delegation led by Jia Yijing. He gave affirmation to the technical power and product quality of DHHI, meanwhile made specific comments and suggestions for improvement. Regarding the factors such as current depreciation of Japanese Yen, high requirement for product quality by the market, etc., he wished that both parties can jointly face the challenge from the severe situation. Through this visit, an in-depth conversation regarding important issues e.g. long-term cooperation and expansion of cooperation filed, etc. was made between the two parties and preliminary agreement was reached.
