In the afternoon of March 31, the DHHI held a grand ceremony in Quanshui for the successful delivery of the nine major machines and the shipment of the shiploader with the capacity of 12700 t/h for Roy Hill Iron Mine Project. The shipment of 12700 t/h shiploader was the ninth large, high-end, intelligent equipment manufactured by the DHHI for Australian Roy Hill Iron Mine project, signifying the successful completion of equipment manufacturing in strict accordance with the contract, enabling the DHHI to be listed among the world's top-rank suppliers of bulk material handling equipment, being of great importance in comprehensively promoting the R&D level of major equipment, enhancing the competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets, and developing the markets of developed countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, the USA, etc..


The Australian Embassy Counsellor Ben Jarvis, Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd.'s Executive Chairman Georgina Rinehart, Samsung C&T's CEO Chi Hun Choi, Duro Felguera's Operations Director Raul Serrano, Chairman Song Jiajing of the DHHI and the Group, the DHHI's leadership Zou Sheng, Shao Changnan, relevant leaders of Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd, Roy Hill Holdings, Samsung C&T, Duro Felguera Australia PTY Ltd, and representatives of the DHHI's staff participating in the project R&D and manufacturing attended the ceremony.


The Roy Hill Iron Mine Ore Project in Australia is an iron mine in the Pilbara region in the Western Australian to be mined by is Australia Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd. and supported by iron mines, railway and port projects and is Australia's biggest iron ore project under construction. The project is one of the projects undertaken by the DHHI for the R&D and manufacturing of the world-class high-end equipment and an export project featuring the greatest variety of product types, most difficult manufacture organization, largest contract amount, highestt technical quality requirements, and the equipment manufactured in accordance with world's strictest Australian standard, hitting the record of the bulk material and port equipment in China. In this project, a total of 9 large bulk material handling machines have been manufactured, including seven large stackers/reclaimers, one double-car dumper, and one 12700 t/h shiploader. Among them, 14500 t/h stacker and 14400 t/h reclaimer have the world's largest stacking and reclaiming capacity, showing the prevailing trend of "large-scale, high-end, intelligent" and environment-friendly for the development of large bulk material handling equipment around the world.
