On June 27th, DHHI held a handover ceremony in Quanshui Base for the world's longest full stroke marine crankshaft (MAN series 6G80ME-C 9.2) made in China.This is another big breakthrough in developing large marine crankshaft in the wake of the successful development of the super-large joint type crankshaft 11S90ME-C9.2 last year, which fills the gaps in domestic market. 

With total length of 11.175m, weight of 207t, full stroke of 3.72m and output power of 24806HP, the crankshaft handed over this time is the biggest crankshaft all over the world both in slew diameter and full stroke. It will be classified into British Lloyd's Register. Dalian Marine diesel engine co., LTD is the customer of this crankshaft and the crankshaft will be installed into the low speed diesel engine of a 250,000t large ore carrier owned by Singapore global shipping co., LTD.
