Over more than 2 years of hard work, in recent days, the site verification work for efficiency-enhancement technology for reversible car dumper system was successfully completed in Tianjin State Power Jinneng Binbai Thermal Power Project, with the system tipping efficiency improved from 14 tips to 22 tips per hour. This symbolizes that the efficiency-enhancement technology for reversible car dumper independently developed by DHHI has achieved complete success and the difficulties of low tipping efficiency of traditional car dumper are solved.

By application of this technology, the operating time of car unloading system is shortened by approx. 36%. Only in respect of calculation of power consumption saved and reduction of penalties from demurrage, over 500,000 yuan RMB can be saved for the customer for each car dumper system per year.

According to the service data collected on the site and not considering the restrictions by site special conditions, on the premise of low investment, the reversible single-car dumper can achieve an efficiency of more than 23 tips per hour by using this technology. Next, through partial design adjustment, the aim is to achieve a tipping efficiency of 25 tips per hour. Up to now, this technology has been applied in 8 car dumpers for 6 projects.
