Recently, the Gear Reducer Plant of DHHI developed and manufactured the gearbox for 6.25MW “3P1H”wind turbine, which successfully passed the type test. This gearbox is superior in dynamic characteristics, symbolizing the Gear Reducer Plant has made a solid stride in the direction of efficiency and lightweight for manufacturing gearbox of wind turbine. 

The gearbox for 6.25MW wind turbine is in compact construction of“3-stage planetary gear plus 1-stage horizontal shaft”, which achieves high speed ratio of 220, with the torque density even up to 170Nm/kg, fully showing the quintessence of its lightweight design. This design not only greatly upgrades the power density of gearbox but also effectively reduces the overall weight and cost, bringing great convenience for operation, maintenance and construction of wind field.
