Recently, DHHI held a ground-breaking ceremony for smart manufacturing project of large, high-end core components for wind turbines (i.e. smart manufacturing project for wind turbines) in its Wafangdian Base.

It is reported that this project is one of the five major technical upgrading projects to be constructed and implemented based on a high starting point by DHIE. This project, with a total investment of 2.575 billion yuan RMB, is the largest project in investment since establishment of DHIE. Upon completion of this project, a large, modern high-end castings developing and manufacturing base that takes the lead globally with a capacity of 300,000t/a for high-end large and precision castings will come into being.
